It is a huge area with amazingly illuminated water fountains in its center which is point zero for lots of alleys going into different directions and hosting bars, restaurants, clubs, souvenir shops etc.
The places we liked most are along the Singapore river waterfront: Mostly cozy bars with live bands and high life until daybreak where you just pop in for a beer and a song and move along to see another live gig elsewhere.
After we got our dose of beautiful noise, we moved over to the opposite river banks and had our nightcap with a beautiful and silent view onto the nightlife over there. Unforgettably relaxing.
